About iHai

We believe language learning should adapt to the learner, not the other way around.

Our Mission

Language learning is harder than it should be. Millions of learners start apps every year, but most quit before achieving fluency. The problem is not motivation, it is that existing platforms assume all brains learn the same way.

At iHai, we believe learning should adapt to the learner, not the other way around. Our mission is to create a language learning platform that adapts the learning process itself, optimizing pacing, feedback, and retention for each user's cognitive profile.

Our Approach

Most language apps personalize what you learn based on performance. iHai personalizes how you learn.

Cognitive Profiling

Lightweight onboarding tasks capture memory, attention, and feedback sensitivity.

Adaptive Learning Mechanics

Session length, review cadence, and error correction adjust dynamically.

Continuous Improvement

The platform learns from user performance and adapts in real time.

This approach is designed to reduce churn, improve retention, and adapt to a wide range of learning needs and cognitive styles.

Founder

iHai is founded by a product and AI technologist with a background as a data scientist and technical lead in health tech startups. They hold an MSc in Data Science and are currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, researching early disease detection using AI and visual computing to model individual differences in complex, real world data.

This combination of product experience, technical leadership, and research expertise informs iHai's mission: building adaptive learning systems that work for each individual, not the average.

Where We Are Now

We are pre-launch, focused on:

  • Validating the cognitive profiling model through user interviews and prototype testing
  • Designing a low friction onboarding experience
  • Testing assumptions before scaling content or features

We are building the product in a scientific, data driven way, aiming to improve learning outcomes from day one.
